| Established in 1994 as an innovative and pioneering new event for creative digital media is now recognised as the UK's first prize and exhibition for Digital Art and continues to develop leading the field in supporting and showcasing new creative talent. The exhibition is about 'Innovation, Creativity Access and Excellence', and is open to photographers, printmakers, designers illustrators, graphic fine artists and everyone interested in the exciting field of creative new media. Entries may include work, which involves the use of digital media, or a mix of both traditional media and electronic technology. With the emphasis being on creativity with whatever new media best benefits your work together with new print technologies to enhance computer based work. An expert panel of selectors for the award include representatives from the Victoria&Albert Museum in London and the UK Centre for Electronic Arts. DPA99 short-listed artists' will be on show to the public at the innovative Urban Outfitters Store Flagship in central London. A selection of the best entries will also be shown in a specially created 3D interactive virtual gallery at the DPA99 web-site...
